RapidSales for WooCommerce sends your customers timely WhatsApp updates and recovers lost revenue — built for D2C and COD-heavy stores in India.
Order notifications
Automatic WhatsApp updates when an order is placed, shipped, out for delivery, delivered or cancelled. You control which WooCommerce status triggers which message.
COD confirmation (reduce RTO)
Cash-on-delivery orders get a WhatsApp confirmation with Confirm/Cancel buttons. Optionally auto-cancel (and restock) orders the customer declines. Set a minimum order value below which COD orders get a normal confirmation instead.
Abandoned-cart recovery
When a shopper leaves checkout after entering their phone number, they receive a WhatsApp reminder with a one-tap link that restores their cart. Built-in guardrails: one reminder per cart, at most one reminder per customer per 72 hours, and configurable quiet hours.
Simple setup
Install, enter your RapidSales account credentials, done. All settings — flows, COD rules, quiet hours, status mapping — live right in your WooCommerce admin, along with a 7-day health summary and a send-test-message button.
Account required: this plugin is a connector for the RapidSales platform (https://rapidsales.ai). You need a RapidSales account with an approved WhatsApp Business channel and message templates. Message delivery is handled by RapidSales via the WhatsApp Business API and may incur charges per your RapidSales plan.
External services
This plugin connects to the RapidSales gateway service (https://woo.rapidsales.ai), operated by RapidSales (https://rapidsales.ai). It is required for every feature of the plugin — the plugin is a connector and does not send WhatsApp messages itself.
What is sent, and when:
- On connect: your store URL and the RapidSales account email/password you enter (the password is used once for validation and is never stored on your WordPress site).
- On order events: order id/number/status, amount, currency, payment method, customer name/email/phone, the first line items, and shipment-tracking details if a tracking plugin has stored them.
- On checkout (if cart recovery is enabled): the contact details the shopper types (name, email, phone) and the cart contents, so an abandoned-cart reminder can be sent.
- From the settings page: your messaging preferences, and the phone number you enter when sending a test message.

Installation
- Install and activate the plugin (WooCommerce must be active).
- Go to WooCommerce RapidSales.
- Enter the API-user email and password from your RapidSales dashboard (Account API User) and click Connect.
- Make sure your RapidSales account has Active Template Configs for at least “Placed” and “COD”.
- Optionally adjust flows, COD rules, quiet hours and status mapping — then send yourself a test message.

Do I need a RapidSales account?

Yes. The plugin is a connector for the RapidSales platform, which provides the WhatsApp Business channel, message templates and delivery.

Does the plugin store my RapidSales password?

No. The password is sent once, over HTTPS, to validate your account and is never stored in WordPress.

Which checkout types are supported?

Both the classic shortcode checkout and the new block checkout.

Why did a customer not receive a message?

The most common reasons are a missing/inactive Template Config for that status on your RapidSales account, or a phone number that is not on WhatsApp. The health section on the settings page points out skipped messages.

Does it work with order-tracking plugins?

Yes — shipment tracking details saved by common tracking plugins (e.g. Shipment Tracking / AfterShip) are included in “shipped” messages automatically.
