But in getAttachmentStruct- > set_magic_quotes_runtime is causing a bit problem with newer version of PHP. If this can be fix in future update, it would be awesome. I don’t know why so many people complain about Mandrill not being free anymore. Sure, you have to have a MailChimp account, but its a small price to pay for the features. Show me an email server that has Mandrill’s capabilities, customer support, integration, and template access… and is also free? Might not have minded if the payment structure was reasonable. So this plugin – once really useful – is no longer worthwhile. You’ll need to have“ paid” account with MailChimp to use Mandrill. I need to send less than 100 emails per month and now mailchimp would charge me $9.95/month for this. With a bit of configuration in our DNS settings (probably the most difficult issue, and not Mandrill’s or our managed hosting’s provider’s problem) – with a drop in of the API key we were back in business.
