When it can't help, or the visitor wants to talk to you, it offers to pass on their enquiry, with a summary already written.<\/p>\n\n<p>The plugin is the chat your visitors see. The answers come from a small backend on your own <a href=\"https:\/\/supabase.com\">Supabase<\/a> project, with your own AI key. No monthly fee to us: you pay Supabase and your AI provider directly, and the data stays in your project.<\/p>\n\n<h4>Two ways to run it<\/h4>\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>On its own (free):<\/strong> download the free chat backend from <a href=\"https:\/\/getkontor.eu\/support-software\">getkontor.eu<\/a>, set it up on your Supabase project (about 20\u201330 minutes; the plugin's settings page walks you through it), and paste your project URL and key.<\/li>\n<li><strong>With <a href=\"https:\/\/getkontor.eu\">Kontor<\/a>:<\/strong> your Kontor backend already runs the chat. The free backend needs a few copy-paste steps in the Supabase dashboard and two terminal commands to deploy its functions; the guide has them all, or a developer can do that part in a few minutes. Kontor customers skip it.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"which%20ai%20models%20can%20i%20use%3F\"><h3>Which AI models can I use?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Claude (Anthropic), OpenAI and Z.ai's GLM models, each on your own API key, set as a secret on your Supabase project. You pick the model in the chat admin.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"where%20is%20conversation%20data%20stored%3F\"><h3>Where is conversation data stored?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>In <strong>your<\/strong> Supabase database.
