## Description

UP Globe is a WordPress plugin that allows you to test your website’s speed and
availability from real devices across the world (200 countries / territories) using
residential IP addresses. It measures Time to First Byte (TTFB) per country, helping
you identify regions where your website is slow, blocked, or degraded.

Key Features:
 * Visualize global performance via dynamic charts. * Test site access
from behind firewalls, bans, or CDN blocks. * Each country performs its own DNS
lookup, so CDN-based sites are tested against the actual edge node used in that
region.

Who Is It For?
If you serve an international audience or want to verify if your
content is truly available globally, UP Globe gives you insights from real users
in real places — not just data center probes.

### Freemium Model

UP Globe is free to use with no signup required. Each WordPress installation receives
250 free monitoring credits every week. These credits are automatically refreshed
and can be used to run global availability and performance checks from real devices
in over 200 countries.
If you require more checks than the free weekly quota allows,
you can optionally purchase additional credits through our platform. There are no
subscriptions — you only pay for what you need. The core plugin remains fully functional
with the free tier. Once the quota is exhausted, checks will pause until the next
weekly reset or until additional credits are added. No features are hidden behind
a paywall, and no data is locked or lost due to quota limits.

UP Globe is fully functional as a free plugin. Every installation receives free
weekly credits to monitor your website from real devices in 200+ countries.
 You

credits are non-refundable once used. If a technical issue prevents you from using
purchased credits, contact us within 7 days of purchase — we’ll review your case

## FAQ

### How does UP Globe measure website performance?

UP Globe measures Time to First Byte (TTFB) from real residential IP addresses in
over 200 countries, providing real-world data about your site’s responsiveness worldwide.

Each test originates from a genuine local IP address — resolved and routed exactly
as it would be for a user in that country. This means that your WordPress site is
reached via the actual IP returned by local DNS resolution in the test country,
ensuring correct CDN edge selection and bypassing geo-based blocks or firewall rules.
This unique approach gives you accurate insights into how your website behaves globally—
especially when served through CDNs, country-specific restrictions, or caching layers.
You can also verify each check directly in your web server access logs — look for
requests using the custom user agent that includes “up-globe” and the URL (+https://
up-globe.com)

### Does this plugin connect to an external service?

Yes. UP Globe connects to https://api.up-globe.com to run global performance tests
and display monitoring results.

### Can I leave the plugin page after starting a check?

Yes. Once you start a check, it runs externally on our monitoring infrastructure.

You can safely close the browser, navigate to another page, or even shut down your
device — the check will continue running in the background. Results will be available
in the plugin interface once the check completes. There’s no need to keep the plugin
page open.

### Can I use UP Globe for free?

Yes! Each WordPress installation gets 250 free monitoring credits weekly. Additional
credits can be purchased.

### How does UP Globe handle privacy?

UP Globe does not collect any personal data. Each installation has a random license
ID for API communication only. No cookies or tracking scripts are used.
