Elementor pages translate the underlying `_elementor_data` JSON; Divi pages translate the `et_pb_*` shortcode content and text attributes (headings, buttons, CTAs, blurbs, tabs and more); Gutenberg parses blocks and translates innerHTML and block attributes; classic posts translate `post_content` directly. ### Will Google index the translated pages correctly? That was stored as the finished translation, so the phrase stayed in the original language and nothing ever tried it again— a momentary hiccup became permanent. Wording that repeats unchanged is now retried a few times before being accepted, while single words that genuinely stay the same in every language, such as product names or units, are still accepted straight away. #### 1.9.48 * New: **remove interface text that only administrators ever see.** Some plugins add their own toolbar entries and settings labels, which only appear when an editor is logged in. Earlier versions collected that text along with the rest of your site, so it counted towards the strings still to translate and made the remaining work look far larger than it was. Under _Settings Transleti Translator_ you can now check how many stored strings have never appeared on a public page, see examples of them, and remove them in one go. Translations you edited by hand are never touched, and nothing is removed until you ask for it. * Fix: **translation could stop for good on sites running TranslatePress.** The addresses used to visit your pages and collect their text were built from a value that TranslatePress rewrites, so they came out malformed — every visit failed, and because only successful visits were recorded, the same pages were retried forever while the rest of the site waited behind them. Progress simply froze, with no error anywhere and the plugin still reporting itself as running. Addresses are now built from the page’s own address, and any language already in it is handled correctly. * Fix: **one unreachable page no longer blocks all the others.** A page that cannot be fetched — a redirect loop, a deleted page, an error from another plugin — is now set aside after a few attempts and retried on the next scheduled pass, instead of holding up the queue indefinitely. * Fix: **languages now take turns even when a pass finds nothing to do.** The rotation only advanced after a successful pass, so a language whose pages were all failing kept its place at the front and the languages behind it never got their turn.
