## Description

**LegalBlink Policy** is a plugin that allows you to integrate the LegalBlink services
into your WordPress site.

This tool lets you create privacy and cookie policies, cookie banners, and terms
and conditions
 for your showcase or e-commerce site.

You can generate documentation quickly and easily, with support from a team of legal

consultants. In this way, you can make your site compliant and keep it always up-
to-date with legislative changes, avoiding legal and administrative sanctions.

With LegalBlink, you can have **privacy policies, cookie policies, cookie banners
with consent
 management, and terms and conditions of sale
.

The main features include:

 * Automatic synchronization with LegalBlink (no manual changes required)
 * Cookie banner management (enable/disable, copy HTML snippet, site-wide activation)
 * Legal documents with iframe integration, HTML snippet, or shortcode
 * Shortcodes with advanced options (e.g. `lang="en" html="true"`)
 * Association of pages with direct link copying
 * Cache management (duration and manual clearing)
 * Compatibility with WooCommerce, WordPress Multisite, WPML, and Polylang

All legal documents generated by LegalBlink are available in Italian, English, German,

French, and Spanish, and comply with GDPR requirements and European Directive 2011/
83 on consumer rights.

### Configuration

 1. Retrieve your token from [https://app.legalblink.it/login](https://app.legalblink.it/login)
 2. Go to “LegalBlink Policy” on WordPress
 3. Paste the token and click “Login”

### Shortcodes

Use these canonical shortcodes to embed LegalBlink documents inside any WordPress
content area that supports shortcodes:

 * `[WPLB_PRIVACY_POLICY]`
 * `[WPLB_COOKIE_POLICY]`
 * `[WPLB_CGV_POLICY]`

The legacy terms alias remains available for backwards compatibility:

 * `[WPLB_TERMS_OF_SERVICE]`

Example with attributes:

 * `[WPLB_CGV_POLICY lang="en" html="true"]`

If a page is built with Elementor, insert the shortcode manually in an Elementor
Shortcode or HTML widget. The automatic page synchronization only updates the standard
WordPress content of the page.

### External Services

This plugin relies on the **LegalBlink API** to provide legal compliance
 features
for your WordPress website.

This plugin connects to the LegalBlink API to:

 * Authenticate users with their LegalBlink account credentials
 * Retrieve and display legal documents (privacy policies, cookie policies, terms
   and conditions)
 * Fetch cookie banner configurations and manage consent

## Installation

#### From WordPress

 1. Go to **Plugins  Add New**
 2. Search for “LegalBlink Policy”
 3. Click **Install** and then **Activate**

#### Manual

 1. Download the `.zip` file from the official website
 2. Go to **Plugins  Add New** and **Upload Plugin**
 3. Upload the `.zip` file and activate it, or upload the files via FTP to the `/wp-
    content/plugins/` folder

After activation, you will find the menu item: “LegalBlink Policy”.
