Each one is optional and is only contacted after you enable and configure it. No data is sent to any of them out of the box, and no data is ever sent to the plugin author. **Google reCAPTCHA** (optional spam protection) Used to tell human submissions apart from bots. When you enable reCAPTCHA and add your site/secret keys, the plugin loads Google’s reCAPTCHA script from `www.recaptcha.net` on pages containing a form and, on submission, sends the reCAPTCHA token together with the visitor’s IP address to Google (`www.google.com/recaptcha/api/siteverify`) for verification. This happens only on forms you protect with reCAPTCHA. This happens only for forms that include a Stripe payment field. Edit the page in the block editor, add the **CodeMoksha Forms** block (search for“ contact”), and choose your form. You can also copy the form’s shortcode, for example`[ codemoksha-forms id="1a2b3c4" title="Contact form 1"]`, from **CodeMoksha Forms Contact Forms** and paste it anywhere shortcodes are supported. ### Is CodeMoksha Forms really free? Yes. Every field type, integration, and setting in this plugin is free, with no locked features. Smart Forms Pro is an optional paid version that adds submission storage, Cloudflare Turnstile, and priority support. ### How do I migrate from Contact Form 7? Go to **CodeMoksha Forms CF7 Importer**, select your forms, and click **Import Selected Forms**. Fields, mail settings, messages, additional settings, and (optionally) your reCAPTCHA, Stripe, and Brevo credentials are copied. Contact Form 7 does not need to be active; only its data needs to be in the database. ### Does the importer delete my Contact Form 7 data? No. The importer only reads Contact Form 7 data and copies it. You can optionally deactivate Contact Form 7 after the import, but its forms remain in the database until you delete them yourself. ### Will my existing [contact-form-7] shortcodes keep working? Yes — the importer rewrites them for you. Tick the “Rewrite [contact-form-7] shortcodes” option during the import and every one of them in your posts and pages becomes a`[ codemoksha-forms ...]` shortcode pointing at the imported form. Imported forms keep the same hash IDs, so the rewritten shortcodes resolve to the same forms. Nothing needs editing by hand. ### How do I stop spam submissions? Go to **CodeMoksha Forms Integration** and connect Google reCAPTCHA v3 or Akismet. You can also add a `[quiz]` field to any form, or use the disallowed comment keys list in **Settings Discussion** to block specific words, emails, or IP addresses. ### Can I send an auto-reply to the person who filled in the form? Yes. Open the form’s **Mail** tab and enable **Mail (2)**. It is a second, fully customizable email template, typically sent to the submitter as a confirmation. ### Can visitors upload files? Yes. Add a `[file]` field, and optionally limit the file size and allowed file types, for example `[file resume limit:2mb filetypes:pdf|doc|docx]`. Add the field’s mail- tag (for example `[resume]`) to the **File attachments** box on the Mail tab to receive uploads as email attachments. ### Can I accept payments with a form? Yes. Connect Stripe under **CodeMoksha Forms Integration**, then add a Stripe field to your form to collect card payments securely with Stripe.js. ### Why am I not receiving emails from my form? Most delivery problems are caused by the site’s mail server or a “From” address that doesn’t match your domain. The built-in configuration validator flags common mistakes on each form’s editor screen, so check it first, set the From address to an email on your own domain, and consider an SMTP plugin for reliable delivery. ### Does it work with Elementor, Divi, and other page builders? Yes. Paste the form’s shortcode into your page builder’s shortcode or text element. The form uses your theme’s styles, so it matches your site. ### Does CodeMoksha Forms store form submissions? No. Submissions are sent by email and are not saved to your database, which keeps the plugin light and privacy-friendly. If you need a searchable archive of every submission, Smart Forms Pro adds database storage with a Messages screen. ### Is it GDPR-friendly? The plugin doesn’t store submissions and contacts no third-party service unless you enable one. Use the acceptance field to add a consent checkbox.
